Don't Worry

Gouache and ink, 2011. SNAX.

Apocalyptic visions, but with refreshments. Feast! Feast!

So long, too long, since my last update. Here's a bunch of stuff I made, funneled quickly to seal the abscess my absence surely left. More to come, but I'll probably give you some time to recover, delicate blossoms. You'll Be Allright. Relief print. 2010.

When you cut off left, what's left is just right. For Giant Robot NY's print show, which was fun to be in but not fun enough to save the store/gallery from closing a few months later.
You're Never Alone. Gouache and ink. 2010

To remind myself and others not to wash one's hands, at the risk of being slathered in bacteria ghosts.
Hexperiment. Gouache and pencil on charcoal paper, 2010.

A free-form experiment to see if gouache and charcoal paper can coexist. They've been happily married by molecules ever since.

Obesity (Foodicide)

Obesity/Foodicide. Gouche and ink on wood panel. 2010.

For IMPACT art show, my prescribed theme was 'Obesity'. See above for result.

I hope you brought enough to share with everyone

Share. Watercolor and ink. 2010.

My contribution to the Drawgasmic show going down in St. Louis in July. I won't be attending, but this happy threesome will be there to preach the gospel of generosity.

TRASHED

Pen, 2010. Cover for upcoming anthology from Red Moon Features. Illustrating someone's script about a garbage man who takes care of trash in both a literal and metaphorical sense. Heavy stuff.

And That's How It Got There. Watercolor and Ink. 2010.

A treasure map of sorts. The treasure is finding out what happens next. Hint: Look at the arrows.
Hormone Horror. Watercolor and Ink. 2010.

For a book detailing the assorted horrors of pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood. This is my contribution and it concerns the myriad ways hormones will fuck you up and make you gross, to put it bluntly.

There are lotions, There are potions

Pen, 2009.

I've been working on a tedious embroidered piece, but it may be many lifetimes before you behold the end result, dear reader. This is the sketch I did for it, which is a sufficient tease for now. You get the gist...don't you?

Linoleum block print, 2009.

This is the companion piece to my previously posted house head. They are in love.
